This deck has performed surprisingly well on Quests 2, 3, and 4 of the Shadows Reach. I haven’t tried it with 1 and 5 yet but I’m sure it will do well there as well.

Each round can sort of be divided into 3 sections:

1.) Turtle and Control: This is where you try to exhaust as many of Saurons minions and resources as possible by using Tom Took, A Friend in Need, Wandering Took, and generally Chumping.

2.) Fight or Fate: Once the initial board of enemies is exhausted for the round you can choose what’s more important: fighting, fating up, or questing. Some quests have fate events that buff attack. I usually go for those as soon as possible.

3.) Preparations: Finally, once Sauron has passed, you can play your other cards like Advanced Warning or Beorns Hospitality, etc.
