A deck that tries to get off a powerful combo in order to fill your board with overpowered dwarf allies and overwhelm Sauron.

The combo is:
First to the Party + First to the Party + Erebor Watchman + Erebor Watchman + Longbeard Elder + Longbeard Elder

Alternatively:
Study the Scrolls + First to the Party + First to the Party + Erebor Watchman + Erebor Watchman + Longbeard Elder + Longbeard Elder

Or if you manage to get the resources and cards:
Study the Scrolls + First to the Party + Study the Scrolls + First to the Party + First to the Party + First to the Party + Erebor Watchman + Erebor Watchman + Longbeard Elder + Longbeard Elder

The roles of each hero are as follows:

  • Dain: Passively buff your overpowered dwarves and help keep the board under control while you prepare the combo.
  • Faramir: Kill multiple enemies per turn in order to draw through your deck faster.
  • Elrond: Do willpower-related tasks and help your units survive through healing whenever you cast events.

A rundown of the cards and why they are included is as follows:

  • First to the Party, Erebor Watchman & Longbeard Elder: the combo pieces.
  • Study the Scrolls: Serve as backup copies of First to the Party should one be discarded. Can also extend the combo.
  • Ever My Heart Rises: Keeps threat from killing you since sometimes you may do the combo in the first location and let the looming threat appear. Usually placed on an ally so that it can't be destroyed by Sauron.
  • Zigil Miner & Resourcefulness: Resource generation to help get the resources for the combo faster. Note that the combo requires at least 10 resources!
  • Ranger's Blade & Raven-winged Helm: Attack boosts for Faramir and Dain. Faramir is priority since you want to draw cards fast.
  • Star Brooch, Unexpected Courage, & Timely Rescue: Used to give more actions to your heroes. Faramir is priority since you want to draw cards fast.
  • Heed the Dream & Mithrandir's Advice: Help draw through your deck faster.
  • Against the Shadow: Just a very strong overall card that you'll find in most decks that play Expert difficulty.
  • Careful Planning: Helps keep threat low but it might be better to swap this out for something like Cleverness or Elf Magic. It's not a bad choice, though.

I am unsure if my build here is the optimal build, but I am hoping that in posting this list it may inspire someone to create a better one.
