Best balanced team to handle most quests. Excellent balance of tanking, damage reduction, damage, questing, threat reduction and card draw.

attachment setup:

Dis

  • Hammer of Dis
  • Gondorian Shield
  • Unexpected Courage

Faramir

  • Sting
  • Raven Winged Helm
  • Star Brooch

Galadriel

  • Star Brooch

Erkenbrand

  • Ranger’s Blade
  • Mithril Shirt
  • Enduring Valor

Guardian of Arnor

  • Ranger’s Blade
  • Gondorian Shield
  • Ranger’s Cloak

Imladris Minstrels

  • Orc Disguise
  • Favor of the Lady

If you’re playing solo you’ll play both Erkenbrand and Guardian of Arnor as additional tank support for Dis.

if playing multiplayer and your ally plays Erkenbrand first, then just play Guardian of Arnor. The team is setup to accommodate that.

Duplicates of key attachments are in there in the event grasping hands takes one of them.

On your initial card draw you’re prioritizing the following engine cards:

  • Star Brooch
  • Unexpected Courage
  • Sting
  • Imladris Minstrels

Its almost a ''no allies'' deck ;)

It happened so often to have only attachments in my hands and no ally.

Thoughts ?

With multiple actions from Galadriel, Faramir, and even Dis; it’s usually easy enough to progress until you get allies out.

I normally don’t have an issue

Deck works really well, only potentially struggling in the first round or two of most adventures. Born Aloft almost never seems to be needed, so with some minor risk it could potentially be removed for something like Trade from Dale for a mid game resource boost. I tend to drop a Favor of the Lady as well for a little extra Fear reduction or healing depending on the situation.

I find the additional 3rd round of healing to be super useful. Dis and her protect is especially helpful early rounds.

I exchanged the 1x Enduring Valor, 1x Hammer of Dis and 1x Sting for: 2x elf magic, 1x against the shadows. Because I find the decks problem finances more than cards - and the extra protection for all can save your game on highest difficulty co-op.

Sounds good, this deck is still applicable.

You can migrate Gandalf + Glamdring into the mix nowadays too if you want.
